Steve Whitehurst is a bonded, insured and licensed building contractor (#CBC1265770) who specializes in remodeling and additions in Polk County and within the city limits of Lakeland, FL. He began his career in construction working with and learning from his father in 1974. Steve attained his residential contractor's license in 1981 while he continued working with his dad as a trim and finish carpenter until 1984. Throughout the years Steve has grown his business by taking on larger scale jobs and challenging his work skills, which has led him to gain new areas of expertise and experience. 

 

Several years after attaining his contractor's license, Steve built his own home that he and his wife still live in today. He has built other homes and many home additions from the ground up throughout his career. In 1986 Steve upgraded his license to include building and/or the remodeling of commercial structures as well.

 

Steve values each and every one of his customers, treating their homes as if it were his own and goes out of his way to provide excellent service and confident craftsmanship.  He believes in not only meeting his customer's needs, but surpassing their expectations.
